Dear Sister in Christ

It is easy to forget the cry and the thirst you once had for your Lord. Do you remember that moment when your soul was rejoicing in His love for you and with tears and with hands uplifted, you said, “Use me Lord, I am yours!”

Is that the cry of your heart today? Do you love Him more than you did? It can be an easy yes, but is your heart truly after the Lord? Do you still love Him the way you loved Him many years back?

I am completely aware of your busy schedule, you now have grandchildren, you now have a husband, a family of your own, a ministry that is serving the needs of many and many other things, this is all good. It was indeed God who gave this to you and blessed you. But, have these heavenly gifts now come between you and your Saviour? Has it stolen those golden moments where it was the Lord and Him alone?

No matter how old you are now, God Almighty still wants to use you for His glory, He is still eager to fulfill every promise you received from Him as a young girl. Go to Him just as how you would go before. Run to Him, seek Him and receive His will for you. You need a time alone with Him and for Him. Run, daddy is waiting to see you at His feet more than ever before. He is waiting for that moment, that moment your tears will wash His feet once again.

Be like one of the many women in the Upper room. In acts chapter 2, it was not only the 12 apostles who received the tongues of fire, not only the other disciples but the bible records there were many other women in the 120 who received the power from on High that morning, who received the tongues of fire burning in their lives. Be one of them in this generation.

Go to your upper room, your Lord is waiting!
